We want you to feel comfortable booking with Chysto Exterior Cleaning and know what to expect from the work. These terms explain our booking arrangements, how we look after your property and what happens if plans change.
Please read them alongside your quote. If anything is unclear, get in touch and we’ll happily talk it through.
Chysto Exterior Cleaning is a mobile exterior cleaning business based in Waterlooville, serving the surrounding Hampshire area.
The business is operated by Luke Connolly as a sole trader, trading as Chysto Exterior Cleaning.

These terms apply to patio and driveway services booked by domestic customers.
Your written quote explains the areas to be cleaned, the work included and the total price, including any applicable taxes and charges.
Any minimum charge will be included in that price. Treatment, re-sanding, sealing, repairs and waste removal are included only where stated in the quote.
We will provide these terms before you book and confirm the agreed work and arrangements in writing.
If we discover that the job differs materially from the information used to prepare your quote, we will explain the options before proceeding. We will not carry out chargeable extra work without your agreement.
Your quote will state any deposit, payment stages, payment deadline and accepted payment methods before you book.
Any deposit is deducted from the total price and is subject to the cancellation terms below. Deposits are not automatically non-refundable.
Where work involves separate visits, such as cleaning followed by re-sanding, we will explain the payment arrangements in advance.
If you have a question about an invoice, please contact us so we can investigate and resolve it. These payment arrangements do not affect your statutory rights.
Please ensure you have permission to arrange the work and that we can safely access the agreed areas.
Unless we have agreed otherwise, please move vehicles, garden furniture, pots and fragile belongings before we arrive. Let us know beforehand if you need help moving anything.
Please keep children and pets away from the work area and follow any temporary access restrictions we explain.
Tell us about known problems that could affect cleaning, including loose paving, damaged joints, drainage issues, vulnerable fittings and previous surface treatments.
We will confirm any need for a working water supply or electricity before booking. Please let us know if the agreed supply will be unavailable.
If we cannot work because agreed access or preparation has not been provided, we will discuss the next steps. Any additional charge must have been provided for fairly in the booking agreement, reflect reasonable costs or losses and be explained to you.
We will carry out the work with reasonable care and skill, using methods suitable for the surface and its visible condition.
We will take reasonable precautions to protect surrounding surfaces, planting, belongings and neighbouring property. Please help us identify anything nearby that needs particular care.
Cleaning can reveal existing defects or wear previously hidden by dirt. It cannot repair cracks, sunken paving, failed joints or an unstable base unless repair work is specifically included.
If we find an unexpected problem, we may pause to discuss how to proceed safely.
An existing defect does not remove our responsibility for damage caused by our negligence or failure to take reasonable care.
We aim to achieve the best result reasonably possible using a suitable cleaning method. However, some oil, rust, black spotting and other ingrained marks may remain.
Weathering, fading and differences in the original material can become more visible after cleaning. We will discuss limitations we can reasonably identify and any specific result agreed as part of your quote.
Where treatments are appropriate, we will explain relevant precautions and aftercare.
Outdoor surfaces naturally collect dirt and organic growth again. We cannot promise that a clean will last for a fixed period unless we specifically agree this in writing. This does not limit your rights concerning the quality of our work.
Where block-paving re-sanding is included, the paving must be sufficiently dry. This may require a separate visit, depending on the weather and drying conditions.
Re-sanding replenishes material in the joints. It does not repair an unstable driveway or permanently prevent weeds.
We will explain when the area can be walked or driven on and any other aftercare needed. Please follow these instructions to help protect the finished work.
We may need to rearrange work if rain, frost, wind or other conditions make it unsafe or unsuitable.
We will let you know as soon as reasonably possible and arrange another suitable date without a rescheduling fee.
If a delay becomes significant, we will discuss your options. Your legal rights relating to agreed deadlines and completion within a reasonable time remain unaffected.
Where statutory cooling-off rights apply, you can cancel without giving a reason within 14 days starting the day after the contract is made.
Tell us clearly by telephone, email or post using the details above. You can use the cancellation form below, but you do not have to. It is sufficient to send your cancellation notice before the deadline.
If you cancel during this period before work begins, we will refund payments received. Any refund due under this right will be made within 14 days of us receiving your cancellation notice, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, without a refund fee.
If you would like work to begin within the cancellation period, we will ask for your separate express request.
If you then cancel after work has started, a proportionate charge for services already supplied may apply, but only where the legal conditions for charging have been met.
Your cancellation right ends on full completion only where you expressly requested early performance and acknowledged that you would lose that right once the service was fully performed.
Nothing here shortens an extended cancellation period available under the law.
Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or change a booking.
Outside any statutory cancellation right, we may recover reasonable net losses directly caused by cancellation. We will take reasonable steps to reduce those losses and account for costs saved or replacement work booked.
We will explain any charge and refund any deposit balance after a justified deduction. We will not automatically retain your whole deposit or charge the full booking price.
If we cannot provide the agreed service and no suitable alternative can be arranged, we will refund payments for work not supplied. This does not affect any other rights you may have.
Your quote will explain how debris and waste will be handled and whether removal is included. We will manage the cleaning residues and waste we handle in accordance with applicable requirements.
We may take photographs to document surface condition and completed work. Any personal information will be handled as explained in our privacy notice.
We will ask separately before using photographs of your property for marketing. You can decline without affecting your booking.
We take pride in our work. If you have a concern about the service or believe damage has occurred, please contact us so we can investigate.
A description and photographs, where available, will help. Please give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the issue and discuss an appropriate remedy.
There is no short reporting deadline that removes your legal rights. Where the service falls below the required standard, you may be entitled to repeat performance, an appropriate price reduction or other remedies available by law.
We remain responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or negligence. We do not exclude responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or anything else that cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
The terms agreed when you book apply to that booking. Later website updates will not change your existing agreement unless we both agree to a lawful change.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protections or court rights available to you.
Complete and return this form only if you wish to cancel.
